We have been in Griffith for three and a bit months now (14 weeks I think) and our jobs are starting to wind down. We have another 5 ish weeks till Easter, which is of course Mum & Dad’s arrival and then from there we hit the road again. Shaun has finished up his contract harvesting at Cocoparra and only has a few smaller jobs with his Uncle closer to home. Hopefully not too many more night jobs? We are getting quite a bit of rain of late and since Sunday everything on the farm has pretty much stopped. At the winery all our local growers have almost brought in all their fruit and we just have to wait and see what happens when it stops raining. I still have my shifts at La Scala but might need to find something for the next 4-5 weeks during the day? I don’t know what? Who is going to hire someone for a short period in a town like Griffith?
We head down to Melbourne next week to the Camping Show. Our list of things to buy and enquire about is growing by the minute but the most important is still the Camper Trailer. Big decisions to come that is for sure. After the camping show I am spending a few lovely days with my lovely friend, Leanne and we are off to Fashion Week. Pretty stoked about that! Who said anything about being a girl of extremes?
The next thing on our agenda is putting together a list of places we want to travel via on the way to our next job. We are still very excited about what our life at Tobermorey will hold? It will be one hell of an adventure that’s for sure.
