Ahhh, I lived and worked in the Pilbara for a few years. Only once did I see these rivers in flood. An amazing sight.
It is such an amazing sight. Especially when the land around the rivers is bone dry and you haven’t had a drop of rain yet they flow with such force from the rain falling further up the catchment area.
Ah nice, I wish I could see that. It i amazing to think that water can come from further up the water course when there has been no rain in that area.
